Description :

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Medical / Surgical and Telemetry.

This position entails working night shifts, consisting of 12-hour shifts.

The nurse will care for adult and geriatric patients.

Common diagnoses include general medical surgical patients, heart failure, chest pain, cellulitis, osteomyelitis, pancreatitis, and patients who are post-amputation.

Additional conditions include small bowel obstruction, atrial fibrillation, dysrhythmias, cancer, and those requiring palliative care.

The registered nurse will utilize various equipment and technologies such as telemetry monitoring, IV pumps, and oxygen delivery systems.

The nurse will perform essential tasks including, but not limited to, managing drips and conducting EKGs.

Weekend shifts are required every other weekend.

Holiday shifts are also required as scheduled.

Floating to other units within the specialty may be necessary.

The ideal candidate will have experience with vital sign monitoring, central line management, and IV therapy.

Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage cardiac drips is essential.

Candidates must be comfortable with floating within their experience scope.

This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.

Successful applicants will demonstrate a commitment to patient-centered care and maintain current certifications.
