Job descriptionScreening and assessing patients based on care levels Determining nutritional needs and providing follow-up care Interviewing patients and / or families to obtain dietary history Monitoring and educating about food / drug interactions Recording interactions in the patient education section of medical charts Interpreting lab and social data relevant to nutritional care Consulting with physicians on diet modifications Modifying patient menus as needed Minimum 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting Degree in Dietetics or Foods and Nutrition from an accredited college / university New York State Certification as a Dietitian-Nutritionist Registered Dietitian credentialing (CDR) Proficiency with EPIC EMR Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong multitasking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A well-established health services facility in Bronx, NY is seeking a Registered Dietician to join their skilled nursing team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with patients to provide comprehensive nutritional care and education.
About the Opportunity :
- Shift : Daytime
- Schedule : Monday to Friday, including one Saturday per month
- Hours : 9am to 5pm
- Setting : Skilled Nursing Facility
