Business Analyst

Genesis10 is seeking a Business Analyst for a contract position with a client located in Milwaukee, WI.

This is a hybrid role.

Summary : The Business Analyst will play a key role in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements to support the successful delivery of technology and process improvement projects.

This role will collaborate closely with developers, architects, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure business needs are clearly understood and met through effective solutions.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, communicative, and experienced in agile environments.

Responsibilities : Elicit and document business requirements through interviews, workflow analysis, workshops, and surveys.

Develop clear business process descriptions, use cases, and user stories.

Partner with project team members to establish technical vision and balance usability with performance needs.

Analyze potential solutions against business requirements and financial impact to determine optimal recommendations.

Engage with internal and external clients throughout the project lifecycle, from requirements gathering through implementation.

Lead and facilitate requirements and data modeling sessions.

Support quality assurance by collaborating with QA teams and validating project outcomes.

Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business partners, vendors, and other testers based on predefined acceptance criteria.

Collaborate with supported business units to define project milestones, requirements, and solutions.

Manage small projects, ensuring the right capabilities and scope are included in the project team.

Qualifications : Proven success working in agile environments and as part of an agile delivery team.

Strong ability to write clear and detailed business requirements, use cases, and user stories.

Solid understanding of data structures, data integration, and data warehousing.

Basic SQL experience.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to influence and lead without formal authority.

Natural leader and organizer who keeps the team aligned, accountable, and proactive.

Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.

Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for teamwork and continuous improvement.

Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.

Able to work as a W2 employee of Genesis10 (no corp-to-corp).

Nice to Have : Experience working with web applications, client-facing websites, or UI / UX collaboration.

Project management or Scrum Master experience.
