Job Title: Environmental Services or Laundry Attendant

Location: Allentown & Fountain Hill (Operated by County of Lehigh)

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Environmental Services Technician or Laundry Attendant. This role is essential in ensuring the cleanliness of our facilities and the efficient operation of our laundry services.

Compensation:

• Part-time Base Pay: $18.31/hr
• Part-time 2-3 days/week 1,000 hours year
• Housekeeping & Laundry PT positions available
• *Immediate Part-time openings at Fountain Hill*
• FT 11p-7a available at Allentown Location $17.73/hour

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Basic knowledge of cleaning methods, supplies, and equipment.
• Ability to learn the specific uses of assigned equipment and cleaning products.
• Basic knowledge of laundering methods supplies and equipment.
• Ability to learn the specific uses of assigned equipment and laundry products.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, other facility staff, and residents and their families.
• Must have full use of hands, ability to stand for extensive periods, bend, pull, push and lift a minimum of 40 pounds

Acceptable Training & Experience:

• Ability to read directions, instructions and safety precautions pertaining to cleaning products and equipment use and maintenance.
• equivalent combination of acceptable training and experience which has provided the knowledge, skills and abilities cited above.
