JOB SUMMARY In the position of receiving clerk, you will be responsible for managing incoming shipments and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of products received into the warehouse.
You will collaborate closely with the warehouse and purchasing teams to maintain accurate records and ensure smooth flow of material.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Receives goods, verifies item order consistency, and inspects condition of goods.
Verify packing lists, invoices and purchase orders to ensure correctness of deliveries.
Unload materials from trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks or other equipment.
Packs and unpacks items to be stocked on shelves in warehouse ensuring items are stored in an orderly and accessible manner.
Accurately enter received goods into Oracle ERP system.
Verifies inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigates discrepancies and adjusts errors.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in receiving area.
Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as needed.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE Experience :
Position requires the ability to stand and / or walk for extended periods, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. Schedule is Monday through Friday 8am – 4 :
