About the Role

The Company is seeking a Senior Counsel to join its dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing global legal support, with a focus on quickly and effectively identifying and addressing complex legal issues. This role involves drafting and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements, managing commercial legal matters across different areas of law, and overseeing litigation and government investigations. The Senior Counsel will also be instrumental in the creation and implementation of legal department processes and policies and will represent the legal function in leadership meetings. A key aspect of the position is the management of a legal team, including at least one junior member.

Applicants for the Senior Counsel position at the company should have a minimum of 7 years' of experience as a US licensed attorney, with a strong preference for those with a background in the life sciences industry. The role requires excellent academic credentials, substantial deal and negotiation experience, and a proven track record of leadership in executed transactions.
