Responsibilities Work in the Coronary Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) of a hospital setting Adult and geriatric patient population with 1 : 2 nurse-to-patient ratio 40-bed unit combined with ICU but staffed separately Specializes in procedures such as AVR, valve replacements, CABG, open triple A's, CRRT, and Impella, IABP, EKOS, bronchoscopy, EGD, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and burr holes Tech support available on the unit Night shift position with 12-hour shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM No on-call responsibilities Primary focus on managing adult and geriatric patients with complex cardiovascular and critical care needs Use of advanced equipment such as CRRT, Impella devices, IABP, and EKOS Team environment with tech assistance Navy blue scrubs required as dress code Completion of required compliance training within 90 days of hire and annually Holiday coverage may be required as needed Travelers who have worked more than two assignments with Tenet must take a 12-month break before returning Requirements Active AZ or compact RN license required Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications Previous CVICU or ICU nursing experience required COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical or religious exceptions accepted) Must be eligible to work at the facility per return policies regarding past assignments Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-627536.
