The position of Security Engineer involves performing professional security analysis and monitoring for a SaaS organization. You will represent our companys offerings while conducting requirements and risk analysis to ensure our SaaS platforms, network, and managed data are secure from unauthorized access and adequately protected from attacks. You will also assist R&D in prioritizing security features, requirements, and testing solutions to ensure they meet WiseTech's security standards before release. Determining security needs, developing policies and solutions, controls and enforcing security policies are essential skills to this position. You must also be able to relate technical security and risk?related matters to management at an appropriate level.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust security architectures for cloud and on?prem environments
• Lead incident response efforts, including investigation, containment, and remediation
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across systems and applications
• Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures
• Manage and optimize SIEM, IDS / IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection platforms
• Collaborate with DevOps and IT teams to integrate security into CI / CD pipelines
• Monitor threat intelligence feeds and apply insights to strengthen defenses
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers
• Ensure compliance with frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, etc
• Prepare detailed reports for executive leadership and auditors

Physical Requirements

Pay range for this role $130,000$150,000 USD

The posted salary range is a general guideline and represents a good faith estimate of what WiseTech Global could reasonably expect to pay for this position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs. The Company reserves the right to modify this range in the future, as needed, as market conditions change.
