Description :

PreOp / Endoscopy RN needed for a day shift position.

Moderate sedation experience is required.

Admissions experience is necessary.

This position will be scheduled Monday through Friday.

Provides direct and indirect patient care to clinic patients and families.

Utilizes the nursing process for comprehensive patient assessments.

Develops and implements nursing care plans and patient education.

Continuously evaluates patient care outcomes.

Delivers holistic and individualized care to all patients.

Develops and coordinates interdisciplinary plans of care.

Incorporates psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors into care.

Maintains collaborative relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers.

Engages in effective communication to enhance patient experience.

Adheres to policies, industry standards, and applicable regulations.

Commits to continuous growth in professional nursing practice.

Conducts thorough patient assessments encompassing various needs.

Collaborates with physicians and mid-level practitioners for optimal patient care.

Partners with peers and management to streamline patient workflow.

Implements evidence-based nursing practice and standards of care.

Administers medications and therapeutic agents as ordered.

Delegates tasks effectively based on team members’ capabilities.

Explains treatments and activities clearly to patients and families.

Maintains confidentiality of all patients' protected health information.

Stays current with advancements and best practices in nursing.

Provides necessary services to ensure efficient clinical operations.

Assists with orientation and training for new staff.

Participates in quality improvement initiatives within the department.

Works as part of an interdisciplinary team to enhance patient care.

Shows leadership within the clinical setting when appropriate.
