Spine and sports rehabilitation : Pain Management in Islandia is an established practice for almost a decade with thousands of patients treated for numerous spine, sports and muculoskeletal pain management care.

In our Ronkonakam Satelite office you will be working with a Physical Medicine Rehabiliatation medical doctor, chiropractor, massage therapist, where you will assist in the musculoskeletal care of approximately 4 to 8 patients per day on Thursdays ( 2 : 30pm-7pm)

The Physician Assistant will be performing musculoskeletal assesment, ordering MRIs, performing trigger point and possibly joint injections. We do not prescribe opiod medications in our office.

Responsibilities :

• Provide comprehensive medical care under the supervision of a physician
• Conduct physical examinations and take detailed patient histories
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Develop and implement treatment plans
• Prescribe medications and monitor patient response
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care
• Educate patients and their families about medical conditions and treatment options
• Document patient encounters accurately and timely
