Job Summary : Grocery Clerks are responsible for ensuring the grocery section of the store is well-stocked for our customers. S / he must assist in receiving, storing, and stocking of products while guaranteeing proper product rotation and quality. S / he must be familiar with store products and their location in order to assist customers in finding items.As a PFM team member is able to exemplify Pete’s Four Pillars of Value, Aesthetic, Quality, and Customer Service.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing all guests with exceptional customer service.
• Ensure all service standards are frequently met and often exceed company expectations.
• Possess the knowledge and training of how to effectively use a scan gun and stock grocery department shelves.
• Rotate and monitor for the expiration dates on product and signs, stocking and facing products in their department, build product displays, and handle product damages and credits according to company policy.
• Complete all stocking and clean-up duties in an efficient and timely manner.
• Assist with the actual store operation activities such as cleaning or hanging signs, depending upon business needs.
• Assist in back-stock, and ensure the timely return of all items.
• Other duties as assigned.

Benefits

Starting hourly rates will be no less than the local minimum wage and will vary based on things like location, experience and qualifications. All positions are eligible for Overtime, and some positions will have guaranteed Overtime available.

Hourly Rate is local minimum + $3 range.
