Manager, Regulatory Affairs
Our client, a well-established leader in the pet care industry, is seeking an experienced Manager, Regulatory Affairs specializing in pesticides. As the primary regulatory liaison for pesticide products across North America, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance while supporting innovation in pet care products. Regulatory Compliance & Agency Liaison :
- Oversee regulatory compliance for all pesticide products (topicals, collars, shampoos) across North America (USA, Canada, Mexico)
- Manage federal and state registrations, amendments, renewals, and product labeling in accordance with FIFRA regulations
- Serve as primary point of contact with EPA and state regulatory agencies
- Monitor EPA databases, Federal Register, and trade publications to track competitive products and ensure proper data compensation
Dossier Preparation & Submissions :
Lead preparation and submission of comprehensive regulatory dossiers, including toxicology and regulatory componentsDevelop deep understanding of testing protocols, procedures, and requirements for successful Agency approvalsCollaborate with external consultants in Canada and Mexico to manage submissions for new applications, amendments, and formulation changesAdverse Effects & Compliance Management :
Manage adverse effect tracking, classification, and reporting to federal, state, and international agenciesInvestigate and resolve compliance issues, questions, or complaints from internal teams, customers, and government agenciesContribute to Safety Data Sheet (SDS) development and approval for pesticide productsCross-Functional Collaboration & Advisory :
Provide expert guidance to R&D, Marketing, Sales, and Management on pesticide-related regulatory mattersReview and approve advertising and product label copy for complianceParticipate in docket review committees to evaluate public information concerning pesticidesRepresent the organization in trade associations, staying ahead of legislative changes and emerging regulatory issues
