Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Title : Accounts Payable Specialist

Responsibilities

• Review, code, and process vendor invoices and expense reports.
• Verify accuracy of invoice data, purchase orders, and receipts.
• Prepare and process check runs and ACH payments.
• Reconcile and process monthly credit card statements.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Maintain organized and accurate accounts payable files and documentation.
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments to address billing or payment issues.
• Support the accounting team with other administrative and financial tasks as needed.

Work Environment

This role is on-site 5 days per week in Boston. Employees will have their own desk and set up, working closely with a Sr. AP Specialist and reporting directly to the Assistant Controller. The company offers a stable environment within the Defense / Government space.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boston, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00 / hr.
