Job descriptionFull days (8 hours) Exam Types : Separation health assessments Exam Focus : Physical assessments including range of motion testing, muscle strength testing, and evaluation of traumatic brain injuries A mix of General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury evaluations Treatment : No prescribing or ongoing treatment involved Travel : Perform exams at designated facilities Schedule Veterans within your own practice Board Certification : Must be certified in one of the following specialties : Neurosurgery Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) State License : Must hold an active license in Iowa Technology : Personal laptop required (no MACs) Skills and Proficiencies : Familiarity with musculoskeletal, diabetes, and cardiovascular conditions Expertise in METs testing, respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological diagnosis Quick Credentialing & Onboarding DMA Certification Available : Can earn CME credits (required post-privileging but not reimbursed) Training Provided : Comprehensive training for Reporting / Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) Reporting : DBQs must be submitted within 48 hours of exam completion using standardized forms (no narrative reports required)

We are seeking board-certified physicians for a locum tenens position to provide a combination of General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury exams. This flexible opportunity allows you to support veterans by conducting important health assessments without the responsibility of ongoing treatment.
