Floater Pharmacist

Note : Candidates must be available for our Corning, Elmira, Ithaca and Johnson City pharmacy locations.

As a pharmacist, you'll collaborate closely with store leadership and pharmacy technicians to deliver a truly exceptional experience. You'll respond to customer questions and concerns with empathy and attentiveness, provide thoughtful assessments, and offer personalized solutions whenever possible. Your commitment to incredible service will help create a pharmacy environment that is both welcoming and impactful.

What You'll Do

• Provide counseling on prescriptions, relay pertinent information for customers to be confidence with at-home use of medication
• Accurately perform all necessary steps of workflow and efficiently to ensure customers receive error-free products
• Continuously strive for efficiency and seek improvement opportunities
• Identify barriers to achieve goals, and escalate issues when appropriate
• Comply with all federal, state, and HIPAA regulations; ensure company guidelines, standards, policies, and procedures are followed
• Verify potential licensing in any state Wegmans does business
• Keep current on company wellness initiatives and ensure consistency and execution
• Travel as required based on business needs
