Overview

Temco Logistics is seeking a dependable and skilled Driver and Appliance Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a 26 ft box truck to deliver and install household appliances to residential and commercial customers. This role requires a blend of driving expertise, physical capability, and technical proficiency to handle installations, provide exceptional customer service, and maintain a safety-first work environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 26 ft box truck for multi-stop delivery routes and appliance installations.
• Load, deliver, and install household appliances, including washers, dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, ranges, cooktops, and more.
• Ensure proper handling and loading / unloading of appliances using lift gates and other equipment.
• Utilize handheld devices to confirm delivery and maintain accurate documentation.
• Work with basic water lines, valves, and electrical connections for appliance installations.
• Provide outstanding customer service to builders, homeowners, and delivery customers by addressing questions and ensuring satisfaction.
• Maintain a safe, accident-free work environment by following company safety standards.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly.
• Adhere to traffic regulations and maintain a clean driving record.
• Respond appropriately to on-road emergencies and incidents in line with company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
