We are currently searching for a results-driven General Manager with a track record of growing revenues and achieves excellence in associate engagement and guest satisfaction, to lead the Courtyard Austin Pflugerville team.

Job description :

The Courtyard by Marriott Austin Pflugerville and Pflugerville Conference Center, a 147-guest room full-service hotel featuring onsite dining that exceeds brand standard and a well-appointed 20,177 sq feet of flexible meeting space. This hotel is 7 years old however still consistently achieves guest satisfaction scores at the very top of the Courtyard brand.

HHG is seeking a knowledgeable and energetic General Manager to successfully lead the hotel in all facets of the hotel's day-to-day operations!

Job summary :

The General Manager functions as the primary strategic business leader of the property with responsibility for all aspects of the operation, including guest and associate satisfaction, human resources, financial performance, sales and revenue generation and delivering a return on investment to property ownership. Verifies the implementation of Marriott brand service strategy and brand initiatives with the objective of meeting or exceeding guest expectations and increasing profit and market share. Holds property leadership team accountable for strategy execution and guides their individual professional development. The position must be active in hotel sales efforts to aide in generating demand. Actively works to achieve objectives and goals of the hotel and to maximize hotel positioning and success. Builds owner loyalty through proactive communication, setting and managing expectations and delivering solid business results. Represents Marriott culture in all leadership actions. Exceeds brand and industry average in key metrics such as market share, guest satisfaction scoring and food and beverage quality.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• A minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in hotel management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role in the hospitality sector.
• Strong financial and sales acumen.
• Track record of excellence in guest satisfaction.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage a diverse audience.
• Proven track record of building and sustaining relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
• A genuine passion for hospitality.
