• Work 3x12 hour shifts with block scheduling Friday through Sunday
• Recent charge experience required with $3 per hour pay increase for charge responsibilities
• Christmas guaranteed off
• Patient ratios : PCU budgeted at 3 : 1 with maximum 4 : 1, charge nurses may take limited 2 : 1 assignment if staffing requires
• 18 months of experience required, first-time travelers accepted
• Weekend requirement with must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Guaranteed hours : 36 hours per workweek for 3x12 shifts
• Required certifications : ACLS, BLS (NIHSS preferred)
• Indiana state license required and must be in hand prior to start date
• Float within scope to meet facility needs including to affiliate hospitals
• No on-call requirements
• Dress code : red scrub top, black bottoms

• Care for adult and geriatric patients on 27-bed cardiac and medical PCU unit
• Required skills : telemetry monitoring, IV starts, cardiac and vasoactive drips, BiPAP, high flow oxygen
• Handle post cardiac catheterization patients, heart procedures, and ICU stepdown cases
• Manage medications including Levophed, Dopamine, Nitroglycerin, Cardizem, and Amiodarone
