Manager, Product Management

As a Product Manager in the Nexus Risk Data Product team, you'll be responsible for :
- Apply discovery and research techniques to identify internal customer pain points
- Break down business epics into features and further into user stories
- Write acceptance criteria and lead refinement efforts with the engineering team
- Evaluate and explore new technical approaches to solve customer needs
- Drive day-to-day prioritization of work, troubleshoot reported issues, and oversee releases
- Research and troubleshoot data-related issues from the data user communities
- Conduct data analysis to drive insights into new product features

At least 3 years of experience working in Product ManagementCurrently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date :A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentrationPreferred Qualifications :
1+ years of experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products1+ years of experience working on data products and platforms powering digital experiences1+ years working with cross functional teams as a product owner in an agile development process3+ year of experience with SQL3+ years of experience in modern data technology experience (AWS, Kafka, Snowflake)At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position. The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. McLean, VA : $158,400 - $180,800 for Manager, Product Management Richmond, VA : $144,000 - $164,400 for Manager, Product Management Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and / or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
