Senior Energy Oil, Gas & Power Gen Underwriter
Zurich in New York or Houston is seeking an experienced Senior Energy Oil, Gas & Power Gen Underwriter, (Senior Level III or AVP Level IV) to join our National Accounts team. While this position will be based out of our New York or Houston office, you will have the flexibility to work on a hybrid basis. You will partner with your manager to set a flexible work schedule that supports you, our customers, and our brokers and agents. This role will require you to be visible in the marketplace to meet with our agents and brokers and be in the office / market three days per week. This role will be filled at either the Senior Energy Oil, Gas & Power Gen Underwriter (Level III) or AVP, Energy Oil, Gas & Power Gen Underwriter (Level IV). The hiring manager will determine the appropriate level based upon the selected applicants experience and skill set relative to the qualifications listed for this position.
As a Senior Energy Oil, Gas & Power Gen Underwriter, (Sr. Level III or AVP Level IV) you will handle complex new and renewal domestic Energy Oil, Gas & Power Gen accounts and serve as a Subject Matter Expert on the team. As a member of Zurich's Underwriting Team, you will enjoy the opportunity to fully apply and hone your underwriting and marketing skills while building relationships with Select Brokers focused in the New York area. Preferred Qualifications (Both Levels) : Bachelor's Degree Technical knowledge of Energy Oil, Gas & Power Gen Underwriting Established broker relationships (retail brokers) within the New York region. The salary indicated represents a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for geographic differentials pertaining to the location where the position may be filled. The combined salary range for this position is $122,900.00 - $266,300.00.
The proposed salary range for the Senior level is $122,900.00 - $201,300.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 15%. The proposed salary range for the AVP Level is $162,500.00 - $266,300.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 20%.
