Sales Tax Analyst (Remote with travel for training)

Location : Milford | Remote | Must be comfortable with going to office for initial training.

Salary : $70-78k depending on experience

Responsibilities of Sales Tax Analyst :

Prepare and file assigned sales and use tax returns in a multi-state environment

Manage the end-to-end process to ensure taxes are paid accurately and on time

Maintain accurate records and ensure continuous compliance with all relevant tax laws

Review, process, and upload tax exemption certificates directly into Vertex

Proactively work on various tax compliance matters and address key issues as they arise

Preferred Experience of Sales Tax Analyst :

Must have 1-2 years of direct experience in sales and use tax return filings

Knowledge of sales tax in a multi-state environment

Working knowledge and experience with Vertex, or similar major tax software, is essential

Proven ability to work independently as well within a team environment

Able to consistently meet required deadlines

Must be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, multi-tasking setting
