INVENTORY ADMINISTRATOR

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Administrator to support the team by managing spare parts and maintenance-related inventory. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that the maintenance team has the right parts available and is primarily computer-based, with occasional hands-on responsibilities such as verifying parts and conducting cycle counts in the storeroom or maintenance areas.
Pay Rate
$18.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 6 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm.
Inventory Administrator Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance spare parts and supplies in the inventory system.
- Monitor inventory levels and proactively coordinate replenishment of critical parts and consumables.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in full physical inventories to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate closely with maintenance technicians and supervisors to forecast part needs.
- Generate reports, analyze usage trends, and identify opportunities to optimize inventory levels.
- Work with purchasing and vendors to source parts efficiently and manage lead times.
- Maintain proper labeling, organization, and housekeeping standards in the parts storage area.
- Support administrative tasks within the maintenance department, including work order tracking and documentation.
Inventory Administrator Qualifications and Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.Experience working with inventory or parts management, preferably in a maintenance or shop environment.Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).Strong attention to detail and good time management.Able to multi-task and handle a fast-paced workday.Good communication skills and a positive attitude.Willing to spend time both at a desk and out in the shop or parts room.Job Type
