EXPECTED PAY RANGE :
Senior : $130,560 - $179,519 annuallySenior Staff : $144,298 - $198,409 annuallyThis pay range is for the position7s base pay only. This position may be eligible for other compensation including incentive pay and / or allowances. Candidates will receive additional information during the interview and selection process.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior / Senior Staff Yield Control Technology Engineer (S / SSYCTE) is responsible for the technical leadership of product support for all Inspection and e-Beam tools sales activities. The S / SSYCTE performs a variety of duties including product development activities, interfacing with design engineers, writing technical papers related to Inspection and / or e-Beam toolsets, conducting technical presentations, demonstrations, performing advanced applications support, and delivering training to customers and other engineers. Some travel to customer sites is required to support tool installations, conduct acceptance tests, and provide general applications support. The S / SSYCTE will use judgment and initiative to work on projects to improve overall toolset technical capabilities, productivity, and efficiency.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical product support for all Inspection and / or e-Beam tools sales activitiesProvide applications support for customers through recipe automation auditsProvide technical advice to the marketing team for sales and trade showsReview of training and demonstration materials for technical accuracyEvaluates design, HW / SW, and Applications of systems and products based on Optical and / or e-Beam technologyInteracts with HW / SW design teams to assist in overall development of the systems by specifying, selecting, and qualifying system requirements and system performance models, developing and implementing procedures, and / or evaluating and selecting appropriate applications to suit customer needsWorks with design teams to complete system or product frameworks, system specifications, input / output, and working parameters for hardware and / or software compatibility, system interfaces, and applicationsIdentifies, analyzes, and resolves system design weaknesses. Influences the shaping of future products by contributing to the framework (architecture) used across multiple products or systems. Provides multi-layered technical expertise for next generation initiativesCoordinates design requirement reviews with appropriate engineering / scientific personnel to ensure product compliance to customer requirementsProvides multi-discipline support to customers by resolving technical issues associated with SW and HW of Optical and / or e-Beam products or systems, testing of new and existing designs, and documentation of changes through a formal engineering change notification processManages the development and implementation process of a company7s products and services at customer sites including delivering new or upgrading existing products and reviewing processing techniques and methods applied in the use and evaluation of the productsCompiles and evaluates test data to determine appropriate limits and variables for system specificationsMay conceive and plan projects involving definition and selection of new concepts, equipment automation technology, and approaches in the processing or development of new or improved processesMay provide recommendations for cost reduction effortsApply quantitative analysis in determining root cause of highly technical problems and propose, develop, and implement solutions for corrective actionMaintain appropriate records of all work and automation audits performedManage and maintain traveling inventory according to department policy, procedure, and / or practiceProtect and maintain company property (i.e., traveling inventory, company issued items, test equipment, tools, etc.)Set and keep appropriate schedules for training at the assigned customer siteCreate, update, and provide highly detailed documentation for the purpose of customer and / or internal trainingMust have and retain valid driver7s license in resident state and be insurableMust be eligible for and receive company credit cardComply and adhere to company policiesPortray professionalism and pride in appearance while conforming to policyProvide a positive attitude to all employees and customersOther duties as assignedEDUCATION, LICENSES, and / or CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
BS degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) related fields or equivalent combination of education and experienceEXPERIENCE and TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Senior : Six (6) years of semiconductor industry experienceSenior Staff : Eight (8) years of semiconductor industry experienceHands on experience with Hitachi e-Beam tools (such as CD-SEM and / or DR-SEM) strongly preferredGeneral understanding of equipment electronicsComputer knowledge and networking experienceIntermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and WordApproximately 25% travel on averageSKILLS and / or ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS / SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
