Title : Maintenance Engineer - I

Shift : 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM
Pay range : $34 / hr.- $41 / hr.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Respond and assist in recovery and repair of utilities and production equipment.
- Troubleshoot failed electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components utilizing basic and advanced problem-solving techniques; requires knowledge of various levels of test equipment up to and including predictive maintenance tools.
- Complete assigned preventative maintenance actions utilizing developed standards as prescribed by OEM and engineering specifications, including minor and major overhauls, calibration, detailed inspections, and basic cleaning and lubricating.
- Complete basic and advanced corrective action repairs supporting safety, quality, and equipment reliability.
- Perform tolerance-specific fabrication tasks utilizing shop equipment such as mills, lathes, drill press, and welding methods.
- Utilize computerized maintenance management software such as SAP to review assigned work, generate work requirements, and document detailed work completion.
- Support training of autonomous maintenance work groups (equipment operators) in the areas of principles of operation, basic equipment inspection, and routine maintenance activities.
- Participate in basic and advanced problem-solving initiatives intended to support site continual improvement; knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance and / or Lean initiatives is desired.
- Work in a team environment where honest communication, a positive attitude, engagement, and personal accountability are expected.
Education Minimum Requirement :
High School Diploma with a minimum of 7 years' experience in a manufacturing environment ORAssociate's degree with a minimum of 4 years' experience in a manufacturing environment ORBachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environmentNice to Have Certifications :

Proven track record of safe work with demonstrated safety leadership examples.Ability to troubleshoot AC & DC drive systems, PLC, and electrical controls.Working knowledge of motor controls, programmable control logic, input, and output.Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).Knowledge of SAP systems as it pertains to maintenance and operations is a plus.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.TPM / Lean knowledge and application, including continual improvement process application.Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.Knowledge of External Device Monitoring and Safety Relays.Knowledge of electrical standards (NFPA 70, NFPA 70E).Strong troubleshooting skills in hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drive systems.Electrical skills in NEC, AC & DC circuits, 480V power distribution, and industrial wiring.Advanced knowledge of electrical circuits, PLC / hardwire logic circuits.Proficient in using test equipment (amp meter, megger, etc.).Knowledge of motors, drives, sensors, and control systems.Familiar with CMMS systems.Ability to self-manage, perform work unsupervised, and reprioritize as necessary.Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset.Excellent communication skills with operators, technicians, and cross-functional teams.Ability to analyze data and make informed recommendations.Ability to integrate into all parts of the operation to support facility goals and objectives.Understanding of automated equipment and its components.Proficient in troubleshooting and maintenance of industrial electrical control, electromechanical, instrumentation, and fluid power systems.Proper use of mechanical and electrical tools and diagnostic instruments.Understanding of electrical control and power components and circuits used in automation.Knowledge of Arc Flash, LOTO, and Permit to Work (PTW) procedures.Note :
