Santa Canela is a Mexican pastry shop & cafe and we're looking for Part-Time and Full-Time Bakers to join our production team at our commissary kitchen! We’re a Los Angeles-based Mexican panadería that celebrates Mexican flavors and techniques with seasonal pastries and baked goods created by Loreto & LA Cha Cha Chás’ pastry chef, Chef Ellen.
We’re looking for Bakers with availability for below shifts :
- 10 PM - 6 AM (overnight)
- 12 AM - 8 AM (overnight)
- 2 AM - 7 : 45 AM (overnight)
Work location will be at 1991 Blake Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90039.
Responsibilities :
Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, bread, cakes, and desserts according to established recipes and standards.Follow recipes accurately and consistently produce high-quality baked goods.Decorate and garnish baked goods.Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to sanitation and safety standards.Assist with inventory management as neededQualifications :
Valid Food Handler certificate preferredExperience in bakeries, pastry shops, and / or high volume full-service restaurantStrong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.Ability to understand and utilize basic math functions with fractions and decimals.Be comfortable with repetitive motions such as walking, bending and standing during your scheduled shift.Ability to carry 50 lbs.Compensation :
