Job Summary
We are seeking a Facilities and Logistics Associate to join the Labs team, the innovation hub shaping the future of last-mile logistics. This position plays a key role in supporting daily operations by managing shipping and receiving, maintaining shop organization, and coordinating facility needs. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and hands-on , ensuring the workspace runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
Manage shipping and receiving operations , including signing for deliveries, ensuring packages are properly logged, and routing them to appropriate recipients.Maintain an organized and safe workspace , keeping the shop, entryway, and storage areas tidy and functional.Coordinate material shipments between Labs offices and facilities, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.Assist with facilities coordination tasks , such as assembling furniture , arranging vendor services , and disposing of hazardous materials in accordance with safety protocols.Serve as the main point of contact for facilities management , responding to operational issues and ensuring quick resolution.Support engineering and design teams with day-to-day operational needs, ensuring they have the resources required for prototype development and testing.Handle logistical and administrative tasks that contribute to maintaining a productive and safe work environment.Monitor inventory of tools, supplies, and materials, restocking as needed to prevent shortages.Drive to local offices in the Bay Area to deliver or collect materials as required.Ensure compliance with safety standards , including the proper handling and disposal of batteries, solvents, and other hazardous materials .Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent ; additional technical or logistics certifications a plus.Proven experience in facilities operations, logistics, or shipping and receiving.Strong organizational and multitasking skills , with attention to detail and accuracy.Hands-on mechanical ability for light assembly and maintenance work.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills , with the ability to coordinate across teams and vendors.Knowledge of safe handling procedures for hazardous materials (preferred).Proactive, resourceful, and reliable with a focus on safety and operational efficiency.Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean MVR and ability to travel between San Francisco and other Bay Area locations.
