Job Type : Contract (12 months with potential for extension)
Shift : Variable shift - placement will be determined at the time of hire based on business needs. Shift assignment may be re-evaluated as needed.

Summary :
Perform flight test installations and aircraft functional testing.
Assist in troubleshooting pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and avionics systems to isolate mechanical and / or electrical / electronic faults and support repairs of faulty components.
Conduct pre-flight and post-flight checks, maintenance, and modification activities.
Resolve issues identified during operation and testing of deliverable products.
Verify accuracy of completed work and conduct self-inspections as needed.
Support system and subsystem pre-delivery inspections and aircraft maintenance in preparation for delivery.
Participate in planning and scheduling work activities to meet a wide range of objectives.
Work independently with guidance from a lead; work is reviewed for adequacy in meeting objectives.
This position is 100% onsite at one of the listed location options.
Requirements :
High School diploma or GED, and typically 1+ year of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., vocational school or Associate degree).
Ability to work any shift, including days, nights, and weekends.
Minimum of 6 months avionics and / or electrical experience.
Minimum of 6 months experience with live aircraft systems and flight operations.
Minimum of 6 months knowledge or experience with Foreign Object Debris (FOD) risk.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications :
3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License.
6+ months of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing.
6+ months of experience with the 787 Program.
Familiarity with the Boeing Production System.
6+ months of experience with Field or Flight Line Operations.
