Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to support students from Pre-K through 5th grade in a K-12 school setting. This contract position runs from August 1, 2025, to May 29, 2026, and involves providing specialized speech and language services to approximately 56 students. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM, totaling 37.5 hours per week.

Location : Bishopville, SC 29010

Responsibilities include :

  • Delivering comprehensive speech-language therapy services tailored to individual student needs
  • Conducting assessments, creating and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Documenting progress and maintaining accurate student records
  • Collaborating with teachers and other professionals to support student communication goals
  • Utilizing dedicated therapy space for interventions
  • Participating in paid team meetings and completing required administrative tasks

Qualifications :

  • Valid South Carolina Speech-Language Pathology license
  • South Carolina teaching certification
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in school environments
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and willingness to use the districts system with provided training
  • Ability to work itinerantly across multiple schools as needed
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Additional Details :

  • The position includes paid travel time between assigned schools
  • Indirect hours for administrative duties and team meetings are offered and compensated
  • Supervision for this role is not required
