This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in cloud security, SOC operations, and threat hunting. Youll work closely with our global team to strengthen detection capabilities, investigate threats, and support secure operations across the enterprise. / ph3Your Responsibilities / h3ulliMonitor and respond to security alerts across cloud and on-prem environments. / liliInvestigate and triage security incidents, escalating as needed. / liliAssist in tuning and optimizing detection rules across SIEM, EDR, and DLP platforms. / liliConduct proactive threat hunting based on behavioral anomalies, threat intelligence, and environmental context. / liliSupport the deployment and configuration of security tools, including DLP, endpoint protection, and cloud security controls. / liliCollaborate with global SOC and engineering teams to improve threat visibility and response workflows. / liliContribute to documentation and playbook development for incident response and detection logic. / li / ulh3Your Education, Experience and Skills / h3ulli5+ years of experience in security operations, SOC, or incident response. / liliHands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS). / liliFamiliarity with SIEM tools (e.g., Sentinel, Splunk, Rapid7), EDR platforms, CSPM, and DLP technologies. / liliStrong understanding of security fundamentals, attacker TTPs, and detection engineering. / liliExperience with threat hunting methodologies and behavioral analytics. / liliExperience with scripting or automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell) is a plus. / liliExcellent communication skills and ability to work in a global, collaborative environment. / liliFluent in English and communicative in Spanish. / liliWilling to travel approximately 10-20% (to the office in Barcelona). / li / ulh3Our Benefits / h3ulliRemote position / liliFlexible working hours / lili23 days off + 2 days extra (we all will have 2 days off on 24th and 31st of December based on the collective agreement) / liliSpecialty coffee, tea and table tennis at the office / liliOpportunity to grow in a fast-paced international company / liliYoung and dynamic work environment / li / ulpNovanta is proud to be an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action workplace.
