Lead, mentor, and grow a team of talented engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, inclusion, and high performance.

Partner with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to align technical strategies with business goals and translate vision into actionable execution.

Own and drive technical roadmaps, system architecture, and engineering processes, ensuring technical excellence and scalability.

Engage in hands-on technical contributions (~5% of your time) through code reviews, architectural discussions, and performance optimizations.

Cultivate an engineering culture that values learning, experimentation, and collaboration, empowering engineers to make informed decisions.

Navigate complex projects within a regulated industry, ensuring security, compliance, and best practices are embedded in all aspects of development.

Leverage AI tools and collaborate with AI/ML experts to integrate intelligent systems into our platform.

Make data-driven decisions, continuously improving engineering processes and product outcomes.

Advocate for modern engineering best practices and help shape the future direction of technology at Omada Health.

7+ years of experience in software development

3+ years leading and managing engineering teams.

Proven track record of hiring, developing, and retaining top engineering talent.

Strong experience driving roadmaps, making technical trade-offs, and aligning engineering with business objectives.

Hands-on background in software development, ideally with experience supporting mobile and web-based platforms.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, balancing technical and business considerations effectively.

Experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment where collaboration is key.

Strong problem-solving skills and a bias for action, you focus on impact over process.

Experience in healthcare and knowledge of security/compliance best practices is a plus.

Ruby on Rails, React, AWS (RDS with PostgreSQL, SQS, S3), GraphQL, Docker, Kubernetes

Below is a summary of salary ranges for this role in the following geographies:

California, New York State and Washington State Base Compensation Ranges: $179,400 - $224,300*, Colorado Base Compensation Ranges: $171,600 - $214,500*. Other states may vary.

This role is also eligible for participation in annual cash bonus and equity grants.

*The actual offer, including the compensation package, is determined based on multiple factors, such as the candidate's skills and experience, and other business considerations.
