Job Title : General Laborer

Property Assignment : Bloomsbury Village, Stewart Park Apartments and Townhomes, and Des Moines Street Village

Job Location : Des Moines, IA (Full-time between all properties - less than 3 minutes drive from each property)

Salary Range : $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Job Summary

The General Laborer will be responsible to ensure the buildings and grounds are kept clean and well maintained.

Essential Functions

Completes light maintenance duties

• Changes batteries in smoke detectors and thermostats.
• Changes light bulbs throughout the property.
• Changes filters as needed at the property.
• Inspects buildings / grounds daily and make needed repairs.
• Assist with preventive maintenance program.

Performs janitorial work to ensure a clean environment for the residents

Responsible for trash and recycling at the property

Performs seasonally appropriate grounds maintenance

Demonstrates regular and consistent attendance as outlined by company policies and procedures.

Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
