Employment Type : Full-Time | On-Site

Salary Range : $25.00 - $27.00 per hour | Based on education and experience

Merryhill Preschool is seeking an experienced, passionate, and driven  Preschool Assistant Principal (Assistant Center Director) to support and lead one of our high-performing schools in the Aurora area. What You’ll Do : \n

As a school leader with Merryhill Preschool, you’ll be responsible for :

\n \n

  • Overseeing daily school operations and ensuring full compliance with state licensing regulations

\n

  • Leading a team of educators and support staff with clear vision and enthusiasm

    • \n

  • Building meaningful relationships with families and creating a welcoming school culture

    • \n

  • Ensuring curriculum implementation, classroom excellence, and student achievement

    • \n

  • Driving enrollment and retention through effective community engagement and customer service

    • \n

  • Partnering with regional leadership to meet performance goals and support staff development

    • \n \n

    What We’re Looking For :

    \n \n

  • An awarded High School Diploma and  one of the following : \n \n

    • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field required.

    \n

  • Bachelor's degree in any other field with 30 semester credit hours in Early Childhood Education or Child Development courses and 3 months of verifiable experience working in licensed childcare.

    • \n

  • Associate degree in in Early Childhood or Child Development and 3 months of verifiable experience working in licensed childcare.

    • \n \n

    \n

  • A strong understanding of Colorado state standards for licensed childcare centers.

    • \n

  • Passion for mentoring teachers and shaping high-quality educational environments

    • \n

  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

    • \n

  • Flexibility to travel within the local market and step into leadership openings as needed

    • \n \n
