Responsibilities Position based in a hospital setting 4x10 hour shifts from 1 : 00 PM to 11 : 30 PM, may vary by an hour Every other weekend shift required from 1 : 00 PM to 11 : 30 PM Role involves working in surgery and using GE equipment Minimal call before or after shift may be needed to cover high volume or call-offs Holiday coverage may be required Local candidates are accepted for this position Patient care and imaging in surgical and general radiology procedures Duties include operating radiology equipment, performing diagnostic and surgical radiographic procedures, and ensuring radiation safety Pass / fail EKG testing required on the first day, with two attempts allowed and study guides provided Responsible for patient positioning, documentation, and assisting practitioners with fluoroscopy and specialized procedures May require travel to nearby off-site locations Will collaborate with physicians, technologists, and hospital staff Exposure to high stress, fluctuating workloads, noise levels, and potentially infectious materials may occur Must adhere to appropriate aseptic and radiation safety techniques Required to document patient dose exposures and complete procedure documentation as per policy Scrub or dress code policies will apply Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Requirements Certification and registration with ARRT required Associate's degree from an ARRT-accredited institute preferred Current BLS from the American Heart Association required prior to direct patient care Minimum of 1 year of experience in radiation safety and patient care preferred Proficient surgery experience required Familiarity with GE equipment required Experience with Epic EMR and PACS preferred Experience with Radiology Information System preferred State licensure preferred unless required by local law License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-639840.
