Endocrinology Opening in IL Full & Permanent Position. Hospital Information We are a critical access hospital and group of rural health clinics, but much larger in scope and size than typical rural organizations. We have cutting-edge technology, new offerings for the communities we serve, strong specialty support, and still have the small-town approach and values that make our organization so special. Our Endocrinology Practice The current practice has one experienced nurse practitioner and staff, a certified diabetes care and education specialist (CDCES), and has been recognized by the ADA for our diabetes education program since 1994. This employed position primarily will be outpatient-focused with a small number of inpatient consults. Qualified candidates should be board certified or board eligible in Endocrinology, have excellent communication skills, and a patient-centered approach to providing care. We are currently staffed with 19 primary care physicians and providers, with specialty support in behavioral health, womena s services, general surgery, orthopedics, spine, pain, dermatology, podiatry, wound care, and cardiology. Additionally, we have 12 visiting specialists that see patients in the clinic each month. The hospital has a 24 / 7 hospitalist service and convenient care for patients. We have a physician friendly EMR. In 2023, we completed expansion projects including adding an outpatient dialysis center, home health services, pre-anesthesia clinic, and cutting-edge radiology updates.
