WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• 3 years of California payroll experience (required)
• Process beginning to end semi-monthlypayroll cycle of multi-state employees to ensure timely completion
• Prepare payroll reporting internally and externally
• Assist in commission review and calculations
• Address payroll inquiries from employees and management
• Analyze payroll issues and provide appropriate action plans
• Maintain current knowledge of applicable state and federal wage and labor laws
• Ensure documentation is retained per legal requirements and company policy

Preferred Experience and Skills:

• 2 years of payroll dealership experience (preferred)
• College Degree (preferred but not required)
• Experience in processing payroll in Paylocity (preferred)
• Excellent communication/organization skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite to include Outlook Teams Sharepoint etc.
• Intermediate Excel skills to include use of pivot tables xlookups etc.
• Self-starter great work ethic and commitment to organizational success
• Exemplary business ethics professionalism and integrity
• Attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
