Weichert Financial Services is seeking a dedicated Mortgage Loan Originator Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential sales and administrative assistance to one or more high-performing Mortgage Loan Originators (MLOs). Your primary objective will be to streamline the loan process, enhance borrower experiences, and contribute to increased loan production.
As a Mortgage Loan Originator Support Specialist, your responsibilities will include :
- Providing proactive support to MLOs, including calendar management, appointment scheduling, and communication handling.
- Acting as a liaison between clients, real estate professionals, title companies, and our underwriting and processing teams.
- Collecting and reviewing loan documentation to ensure compliance and completeness.
- Tracking and maintaining the MLO's pipeline, ensuring all loans meet deadlines for processing and closing.
- Preparing and distributing marketing materials and client communications for ongoing relationship management.
- Monitoring and maintaining accurate records and updates in the Surefire CRM system.
- Reviewing loan files for compliance with federal and state regulations prior to submission.
- Coordinating continuing education and licensing requirements with the MLO and compliance team.
- Providing support during training sessions and internal meetings.
- Managing general office tasks and ensuring supplies are monitored.
- Completing necessary requirements to maintain individual state loan originator licenses.
- Carrying out additional duties as needed to support MLO production goals.
The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications :
High school diploma or GED; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.Individual state loan originator license(s) for the states in which mortgage loan origination activities are pursued.Previous experience in mortgage origination, processing, or underwriting is required.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and loan origination systems.Exceptional oral and written communication skills.Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.In addition to a competitive base salary, this role offers an attractive commission structure, with pay rates dependent on relevant skills, education, experience, and location.
