Senior Manager For Total Rewards Electrification Software
The senior manager for Total Rewards Electrification Software plays a pivotal leadership role in shaping and implementing compensation and total rewards programs for the global Electrification software business segment, while also providing strategic support to the Country compensation and benefits agenda. This position requires a balance of strategic insight and operational excellence, translating business needs into impactful total reward solutions that attract, retain and engage top talent in a highly competitive global marketplace. As a senior member of the Total Rewards team, the incumbent will serve as a trusted advisor to the software business and HR leadership driving compensation strategy and ensuring alignment with business growth, talent priorities and financial objectives. The role reports directly to the Executive of Total Reward- Electrification Systems and Software segment and will have one direct report, with potential for team expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Shape and lead the strategic design, governance, and execution of compensation programs across the global Electrification Software business, ensuring competitiveness, equity, and alignment with organizational goals.
- Act as a senior subject matter expert and thought partner to HR, Finance, and Business Leadersproviding insights, data-driven recommendations, and strategic guidance on compensation matters.
- Drive and oversee annual compensation planning cycles including budget setting, pay reviews, incentive design, and program communications.
- Lead external benchmarking, market intelligence, and workforce analytics to inform executive decision-making and guide proactive talent strategies.
- Partner with HRBPs, Talent, and business leadership to design career frameworks, salary ranges, and job structures that support career growth, employee retention, and global workforce planning.
- Represent GE Vernova in high-visibility forums, such as global and regional HR Councils, Segment MORs, and European Wage Negotiation forums (where applicable).
- Anticipate regulatory, market, and business changesadapting compensation policies and programs to stay ahead of risks and opportunities.
- Serve as the primary Compensation Partner within the Software segment, providing strategic guidance to multiple business units and ensuring consistent execution across geographies.
Strategic Projects & Transformation
Partner with senior leadership to deliver change management and communication strategies for compensation programs, ensuring adoption and engagement across the global workforce.Lead and support M&A-related Total Rewards activities in the Segment including due diligence, integration planning, and harmonization of compensation programs.Develop and execute forward-looking Total Rewards initiatives to support new business models, technology innovation, and the evolving needs of a global, software-driven workforce.Partner with global TR Centers of Expertise to influence design of enterprise-wide policies and ensure segment / business needs are reflected.People Leadership
Manage, mentor, and develop a direct report (with responsibility to expand and scale the team as the business grows), fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and professional development.Build organizational capability by coaching HR peers, upskilling business partners on compensation frameworks, and driving knowledge-sharing across the global HR community.Qualifications / Key Skills
Minimum of 10 years post qualification HR experience, prior C&B experience is a mustStrong compensation consultation and partnership skills; ability to build solid relationships and partner across functionsDemonstrable leadership capability with well-developed coaching, mentoring, influencing and stakeholder relationship skillsAble to navigate, lead and manage within a highly matrix environment.Experience of designing and managing base salary structures, Incentive Plans, competitive market analysis, forecasting trends, costs and modeling outcomesUnderstanding of and experience in administering global benefit programs.High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPointStrong interpersonal and leadership skills.Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve complex problemsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, roll-up-sleeves, innovative environmentAmbidextrous teammate, someone who is collaborative and can work independently; a self-starter
