FOOD SERVICE WORKER - PART TIME

Bring nourishment and care to every plate! As a Food Service Worker , you’ll be part of a team that fuels wellness and comfort for patients, residents, and staff. From preparing and serving meals with care, to keeping our dining areas spotless and safe, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional service every day.

Wage range : $16.00-$18.00 per hour DOE

Schedule : Varies, must have open availability

Location : 2525 N. Broadway Ave, Red Lodge MT 59068

What you will do

The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving food, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

You will...

  • Set up and maintain the food service counter or dining area.
  • Serve food to customers, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Ensure all food and beverages are served at the correct temperature.
  • Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment.
  • Monitor food preparation and serving techniques to ensure proper procedures are followed.
  • Restock kitchen supplies and ingredients as needed.
  • Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale system.
  • Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Assist in inventory control and ordering supplies.
  • Address customer concerns and complaints professionally.

What you will need

  • Proven experience as a Food Service Worker or similar role.
  • Completion of the provided training program.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Understanding of food allergies and modified diets.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Friendly and outgoing personality.

    • State Food Handlers Card / ServSafe® Certification.

    Successful candidates must meet eligibility criteria, including the ability to undergo and successfully complete a criminal background check and drug screen in accordance with applicable State laws and regulations.

    Ability to provide documents for work authorization. We utilize E-Verify, an online system that allows us to confirm the eligibility of our employees to work in the United States.

  • Valid driver’s license required – must be able to drive for work-related duties such as traveling between sites, transporting equipment, or running errands as needed.
