A company is looking for a Utilization Review Clinician - Behavioral Health.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate member's treatment for mental health and substance abuse to ensure medical appropriateness
Perform prior authorization reviews and concurrent reviews related to behavioral health services
Analyze behavioral health member data to improve service quality and utilization
Required Qualifications
License to practice independently (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or RN) is required
Graduate of an accredited nursing school or bachelor's degree with 2-4 years of related experience
Master's degree in a behavioral health-related field is preferred
Direct experience with Utilization Review or Management in Behavioral Health is preferred
Experience working with healthcare teams on mental health and substance abuse cases is preferred
