As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Audiology Assistant to support the clinical team and help deliver an outstanding patient experience.

Position Overview

The Audiology Assistant will work closely with the Audiologists to ensure efficient patient flow, perform delegated clinical tasks, and provide hands-on support in diagnostic and hearing aid services.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both patient interaction and technical tasks within a collaborative healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare exam rooms and equipment for audiology appointments
  • Perform basic hearing screenings and assist with audiometric testing under supervision
  • Support hearing aid fittings, cleanings, troubleshooting, and maintenance
  • Conduct hearing aid checks, battery replacements, and supply management
  • Maintain accurate patient records and assist with documentation in the practice management system
  • Provide exceptional patient care, education, and follow-up communication
  • Assist with scheduling, appointment coordination, and front-office support as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and patient-friendly clinical environment

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or coursework in healthcare, communication disorders, or related field preferred
  • Previous experience in a medical or audiology setting preferred
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working with patients of all ages
  • Proficiency with computers and clinical software systems
  • Florida Audiology Assistant license (or ability to obtain) preferred
