Job descriptionGuest Interaction : Greet guests warmly and direct them to their tables. Present menus and answer questions about dishes and beverages. Take accurate food and drink orders, noting any special requests or allergies. Suggest menu items and offer recommendations. Check on guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction. Address any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally. Food and Beverage Service : Deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely manner. Ensure food is presented attractively and is of high quality. Refill drinks and clear plates as needed. Maintain knowledge of the menu and any daily specials. Order Management : Communicate orders accurately to the kitchen and bar staff. Ensure orders are prepared and delivered correctly. Manage multiple tables efficiently and effectively. Payment Processing : Present checks and process payments accurately. Handle cash and credit card transactions. Restaurant Environment : Maintain a clean and organized dining area. Set tables with appropriate linens, silverware, and glassware. Assist with opening and closing duties as needed. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines. Other Responsibilities : Assist other servers and staff as needed. Be punctual and reliable. Maintain a positive and professional attitude. Be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
