Medical Assistant II – UI Health Care Muscatine Pediatric Clinic 80% (With Benefits)
The University of Iowa Community Clinics is seeking a patient-centered 80% (32 hours a week) Medical Assistant II (MA II) to work at our UI Health Care Muscatine Clinic. This position will mainly support our Muscatine Pediatric Clinic but could float to other patient specialties / clinic locations including but not limited to : Pediatric, Family Medicine, Specialty / Outreach.
Summary : Under direct supervision of LIP (licensed independent practitioner), RN (registered nurse), NM / ANM (nurse manager / assistant nurse manager) or other licensed designee, functions as a member of the patient care team. Performs technical, patient care and related clerical functions in the urgent care setting by coordinating all elements of the patient visit.

Schedule : Variable hours between 7 : 30 – 5 : 30 Monday - Friday. No Wednesday or weekends required. No holidays or on-call time required.
Location : Muscatine, IA (or surround clinics based on clinical need or hours)
Salary : $40,903.92 - $60,760.80 (at 100% time) / Hourly : $19.59 - $29.10 (based on years of experience)
