Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas

Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience

BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required

Strong clinical skills and positive attitude

Experience with Meditech EMR preferred

ER Nurse Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care in a busy ER setting

Perform emergency procedures : tPA administration, STEMI care, CPR, laceration repair, orthopedic care

Collaborate with charge nurses, triage nurses, bedside RNs, health unit coordinators, and techs

Maintain accurate documentation and data collection

Follow unit guidelines and hospital policies

Participate in weekend rotations as scheduled
