Job Description

Midwest Generator Solutions, a residential and commercial power generator contractor, is hiring an Office Manager in Martinsville, Indiana.

OPPORTUNITY :

As our Office Manager, you will oversee the daily administrative operations that keep our business operating efficiently and our customers satisfied. Use your strong organization, communication, and leadership skills to streamline workflows, promote accountability, and enhance team performance. Reporting directly to the President, you’ll coordinate office processes, scheduling, billing, and customer follow-up while supporting communication between customers, technicians, and leadership. This is a key role for a proactive, customer focused professional. Take pride in contributing to a company built on quality, integrity, and exceptional service.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :

  • Inspire, guide, and hold team members accountable to deliver high-quality work and uphold company standards of excellence.
  • Manage business resources, monitor workflow, and ensure efficiency, productivity, and outstanding customer interactions across all departments.
  • Act as the central hub between leadership, technicians, and office staff to ensure alignment, transparency, and smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Collaborate with the team to implement system improvements and encourage innovative ideas that enhance overall effectiveness.
  • Maintain operational integrity with company policies and procedures that support timely, professional, and positive interactions with customers.
  • Oversee the AR process and procedures, ensuring accurate invoices and timely collections.
  • Identify needs and assist with the management of special projects related to office administration, facilities, accounting, or HR initiatives.

SUCCESS FACTORS :

  • 3+ years in office management, operations, or administrative leadership.
  • Experience with service contractors preferred.
  • Assertive, confident leadership with strong team management skills.
  • Resourceful and self-determined to problem-solve and make independent decisions.
  • Knowledge of ServiceTitan or like-kind service trade software is preferred.
  • General knowledge or experience with QuickBooks and Excel is helpful.
  • Customer-focused and able to ensure smooth interactions across all departments.
  • Strong critical thinking skills to identify and resolve issues.
  • COMPENSATION & BENEFITS :

    Midwest Generator Solutions will reward your office management talents with a competitive compensation package of $55-65K + Bonus potential. Your comprehensive benefit package includes health, vision, 401(k) with company match, and PTO. This is an in-office position from 8 : 00 – 4 : 30 M-F.
