POSITION PURPOSE :

The Fleet Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support of rental and service vehicle operations and related inventory for the Company. Ensures the business is driving customer satisfaction, top line revenue, profitability, and is aligned with the Company's business strategy. Ensures all Briggs Industrial Solutions standards are adhered to and executed consistent with company direction.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES :

  • Perform administrative and data entry tasks to support rental and service vehicle operations and related inventory systems
  • Answer and facilitate routine questions from the field surrounding service vehicles, insurance, fuel card, license lates, toll tags, or registration
  • Work with third party fleet management provider on timing, updates, and communicate to the field accordingly
  • Routinely ensure data validity and accuracy of related database systems
  • Create, maintain, and bill Long Term Rental (LTR) and Rental Purchase Option (RPO) rental contracts. Ensure associated Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) are adhered to.
  • Generate and process internal Purchase Orders and Sales Orders to correct inventory records
  • Complete administrative and data entry tasks related to annual physical inventory
  • Complete administrative and data entry tasks associated with the transfer of Rental Inventory to Used Inventory
  • Provide Rental Contract administrative support to field users
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

BASIC KNOWLEDGE & COMPETENCIES :

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service, problem solving, and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Microsoft AX knowledge preferred; or other enterprise wide transactional automated systems
  • PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION :

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in rental, service vehicle, and / or inventory administration preferred
  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
