Job description

Estimated Duration : 6 months with possible extensions

Work Setting : % of the time at the Client’s site in Tallahassee, FL. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client.

Preferred :

Experience designing, developing, and maintaining applications such as the Administrative Image

Management System (AIMS), Financial Inquiry System (FIS), and Revenue Online Collection (ROC).

Experience with the Florida Accounting Information Resource (FLAIR) or Florida PALM;

Experience with Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS);

Experience with Agile development methodologies;

Experience with version control systems and CI / CD pipelines;

Experience in application and data security best practices;

Experience working in a government or public sector environment;

Oracle certifications (Oracle PL / SQL Developer Certified Associate, Oracle APEX Developer, Oracle Middleware certifications).

Responsibilities :

Design, develop, test, and deploy Oracle Forms and Oracle APEX financial applications;

Write, maintain, and optimize PL / SQL scripts, stored procedures, triggers, and database packages;

Support and maintain Oracle database objects, schemas, and Fusion Middleware components;

Provide integration support for Florida PALM and FLAIR, including ETL operations for data movement and transformation;

Ensure application performance, data security, and PCI compliance;

Collaborate with technical / business teams to gather and implement requirements. Coach, mentor, and train team members; produce technical documentation and SOPs;

Attend project meetings and provide regular status updates and weekly reports.
