Responsibilities

Is responsible to managing the day to day operations for the Diagnostic Radiology and Mammography departments at our FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst, NC.

Must demonstrate a commitment to customer service for patients, co-workers, physicians, staff and the community. Analyzes and promptly addresses customer needs, identifies emerging needs and proactively addresses them. Services as a role model for customer service behavior. Responsible for employee engagement, initiates and maintains appropriate recognition efforts, promptly responds to employee concerns and suggestions. Actively supports and participates in corporate employee engagement efforts.

Hires, retains, develops and promotes talented people and builds team spirit. Cultivates a positive work environment, gives frequent constructive feedback, coaching, timely performance evaluations , rewards and recognizes staff, manages conflict and motivates individuals and teams. Creates an environment of mutual trust and respect with effective communication.

Works effectively in interdisciplinary teams throughout FirstHealth. Challenges traditional practices and actively pursues positive change.

Responsible for budget preparations, analyzes financial statements, productivity and workload management.

Qualifications

Associates Degree in Radiologic Science or other clinical specialty required. Certification in area of supervision required by one or more of the following agencies : ARRT, RDMS, NMTCB. Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience required. 2 years of direct supervisory experience required.

Office automation experience required. Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
