Salary : JOB SUMMARY :
The Home Health Aide carries out supportive duties by performing specified, non-clinical medically related skills under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse or Agency designated health care professional.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Provides assistance with personal care, hygiene and activities of daily living
- Assist client(s) to bed, commode, chair, and assist with ambulation
- Measures and records temperature, pulse and respiration of each client visit
- Follows care plan as written
- Performs duties of a Home Health Aide / Certified Nursing Assistant as per the scope of practice and Florida Law
- Change pt. bed linen as needed
- Conducts self in a professional manner at all times and in all situations
- Provides agency with all required items necessary for employment
- Reports any changes in patients' condition, living conditions etc. to RN / Supervisor as they occur
- Complies with HIPPA Privacy Rules, Policies and Procedures
QUALIFICATIONS :
High School Graduate Preferred
