First Connect Health is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Merced, California.

Job Description & Requirements

🕐 Shift Information

  • Schedule : 12-hour nights (7p–7a)
  • Hours : 36 guaranteed hours / week
  • Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend (2 weekends per 4 weeks)
  • Holidays : Work 2 of 3 major holidays — at least 1 guaranteed off for travelers
  • Orientation : 12 hours total (2 shifts in ICU + 1 on float unit)
  • Floating : Yes — to Telemetry & Med-Surg (travelers float first)
  • May be deployed to ED to care for boarded ICU patients

    • ✅ Requirements

  • Experience : Minimum 2 years recent ICU RN experience
  • Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
  • Education : BSN not required
  • Skills : Strong IV experience a must
  • License : Active CA RN license
