Maintenance Manager

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the Maintenance team to ensure that the plant operates efficiently and safely, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity. The incumbent directly manages the Maintenance Supervisor while indirectly managing the Maintenance Technicians (mechanical, electrical, multi-craft) and SAP Coordinator. The Maintenance Manager leads maintenance-oriented improvement projects across the facility.

Essential Functions :

• Environmental, Health & Safety : Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the maintenance team. Promote, teach, and improve safety systems and procedures to employees and contractors, such as LOTO, permits to work, safety audits, etc. Ensure regular safety audits and equipment inspections are being completed. Assures good housekeeping practices following 5S systems, enforces plant rules and safety regulations.
• People Management : Fosters a TEC (Trust, Employment & Collaboration) culture within the Maintenance Team. Manages, mentors, trains, and develops Maintenance Supervisor; and supports efforts for development of indirect reports, Maintenance Technicians, and SAP Coordinator. Serves as back-up to Maintenance Supervisor for daily activities i.e., timesheet approvals, flex holiday and vacation requests, and overtime management.
• Budget & Inventory Management : Manage the maintenance, repair, and overstock (MRO) budget. Manage monthly oversight of maintenance department expenses, labor, and payroll hours, monitoring and controlling maintenance expenses to stay within budget. Maintain an inventory of spare parts and equipment, ensuring availability for repairs and replacements.
• Project Management & Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions. Lead and participate in plant-wide continuous improvement initiatives. Participate in CAPEX projects and leadership initiatives. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in maintenance technology. Performs root cause analysis as well as implements sustainable countermeasures on losses related to maintenance. Analyzes / stratifies accurate data and information from records to prepare reports, statistics, etc., in support of the continuous improvement of Reliability. Support the management team in projects, company demands, and other tasks as needed.

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the national pay range for this position, which is $89,500 to $138,500 per year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 12% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position is $102,925 to $159,275. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guaranteed.
